"Valkyre" We purchased Valkyre as well as 2 others from Lauren Johansson in Idaho (at the time). We wanted a black mare and we liked the breeding. This mare was a very quick learner and very willing to please. She was halter broke when we bought her as a 4 year old and within a couple of hours in the round pen Dennis was riding her. Our kids have ridden her on the trail and she went to a couple of shows in 2009. We had 1 foal from her and Zeus and he was a head turner. Congratulations to Jay and Tracy on their new purchase – they are also expecting a foal later this summer from Zeus. It should be a good one. |
