The story begins 7 years ago when this lovely lady with 3 daughters of her own met this fellow with 2 daughters of his own. We decided to put the families together and became the Dunman Bromley family. After a few years went by we added another daughter to our family and we became a yours, mine, and ours family. I have had horses my entire life and Sandi wanted to have horses, so shortly after we were married we decided get a couple more horses to accommodate the size of our family. Some in my family already had the smooth gaited fox trotter. I decided this would be a good horse for our family because of the even tempered disposition and the smooth gait that would make it easier for them to ride. So we visited a friend who has Missouri Fox Trotters and purchased our first two Fox Trotters. We like to go trail riding and to enjoy the beautiful mountains that we live by, but we have recently gotten involved in showing.
Over the years we have bred a couple of our mares and in the process came across the champagne coloring. In the spring of 2006 I met a gentleman that was selling his champagne stallion. After doing more research on this stallion’s bloodlines, disposition, and coloring we decided to purchase Goldy Cloud’s Jubalation. Once we purchased him we needed to do a couple of things; first, we needed to come up with a name that was more fitting for a stallion; and second we needed to come up with a name for our new ranch. Sandi and I both felt like “Zeus” was a more appropriate name for a stallion and I was the only male in a family of seven females so we decided to call our farm the “One Man Ranch”.
We feel it is very important to have naturally gaited horses that have self drive, a smart mind, a good disposition, a solid conformation, and are also pleasing to look at. This makes it easier for our girls to learn and provides them with the confidence and happiness that comes with riding a good horse. We feel that we have the stallion and mares to accomplish those very goals. Let us help you accomplish your goals of owning a versatile horse that will help your dreams come true. |
